Fingernails and toenails can be subject to onychomycosis. It is an infection caused by microorganisms that live in warm, humid environments, such as swimming pools and showers. They can penetrate the skin through microscopic cuts or through a small separation between the nail and the nail bed. Onychomycosis can appear as a whitish or yellowish spot under the tips of your fingernails or toenails. As the fungus spreads deeper under the nail, it can cause the nails to become stained and thickened and crumble at the sides.
SAVE THE NAIL is to be considered an adjunct to pharmacological therapies against onychomycosis.
As a Treatment: apply the product on the natural nail and wait a few minutes for it to dry. It is advisable to apply it daily and remove it after 8 days. Do not apply nail polish during treatment.
As a Prevention: apply SAVE THE NAIL before the normal manicure.
