Our concierge team uses AI-assisted tools to help answer calls, transcribe and summarize conversations, draft replies for our human agents to review, and route customer inquiries. AI outputs are reviewed by our team and may be incorrect or incomplete. We are responsible for the communications you receive from us regardless of the tools used to assist them.

7. SMS Messaging

This section governs how Dall'Italia handles SMS communications and is required for our messaging program.

A. Consent (Opt-In)

We send SMS messages only to phone numbers where the recipient has opted in. You opt in to receive SMS from Dall'Italia when you:

  • Submit a phone number through a Dall'Italia website form (such as the Contact page, salon partner application, or concierge inquiry form) AND check the SMS consent box
  • Provide a phone number when placing an order or creating an account, where applicable opt-in language is presented at the point of collection
  • Reply to or initiate a text conversation with a Dall'Italia phone number
  • Verbally consent during a concierge phone call, where the consent is logged

Consent is never a condition of purchase. You can place orders, browse products, or contact us without opting in to SMS.

B. Types of SMS We Send

The Dall'Italia SMS program is used for inbound customer service and concierge support. Typical messages include:

  • Order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
  • Replies to your support questions and concierge follow-ups
  • Appointment booking, confirmations, reminders, and missed-call follow-ups (when applicable)
  • Product information you have specifically requested
  • Account or security alerts
  • Occasional marketing offers — only if you have separately opted in to marketing messages

We do NOT use the Dall'Italia SMS program for cold outreach, lead generation, affiliate marketing, mass texting, or unsolicited prospecting.

C. Frequency and Costs

Message frequency varies based on your activity, your orders, and your interactions with our concierge team. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

D. Opt-Out (STOP)

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS we send. After we receive your STOP message, we will send one final confirmation message and will stop sending further SMS for that program. You can also email ciao@dallitalia.com or call +1 (206) 222-3409 to be removed.

E. Help (HELP)

F. No Sharing for Marketing Purposes

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS content with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. Phone numbers and consent records are shared only with the service providers (such as Twilio) needed to deliver the messages you have requested, and only for the purpose of delivering those messages.

G. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

H. Deletion of SMS Records

You may request deletion of your SMS records at any time by emailing ciao@dallitalia.com.

8. Voice and Call Recording

When you call our concierge phone number, your call may be answered or assisted by an AI receptionist and may be recorded or transcribed for support, quality, and training purposes where permitted by law. We will disclose recording at the start of a call where required.

9. Legal Basis for Processing

Phone numbers and SMS consent data are shared with service providers solely to deliver the messages you have requested.

11. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention windows:
